Description: | Trideum Corporation has an opening for a Senior RF Engineer. The Sr. RF Engineer will provide Command, Control, Communications and Computers (C4) Subsystems test technology development, professional engineering services, and test and evaluation expertise to the Aberdeen Test Center.
Trideum Corporation is an equal opportunity employer. F/M/D/V | Duties: | As a Sr. RF Engineer you will use your skills to:
• Examine C4 test capability to determine gaps and shortfalls.
• Define new and revised test methods, test procedures, courses, facilities, and instrumentation systems for conducting developmental tests of military systems that incorporate C4 Subsystems.
• Provide foundation for test methodology development and test metrology development (sensors, instrumentation, and measurement techniques to meet required tolerances).
• Provide RF spectrum monitoring, spectrum capture, develop test scripts for the monitoring equipment, and provide real time analysis. | Qualifications: | Educational Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science. (10 years of additional relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement.)
Minimum Qualifications:
• Requires considerable experience with radio frequency (RF) test hardware, software, and instrumentation; with military tactical communications system testing; and C4 test investment strategy and planning.
• Must possess a minimum of 20 years of combined experience testing these systems.
• Strong RF, signal analysis and spectrum measurement expertise is required.
• Demonstrated hardware and interface design as well as software development expertise is necessary.
• Must be able to design tests and identify required instrumentation; understand test procedures, standards and safety requirements; translate customer requirements into test plans; and support real time analysis and create event reports.
• Must be proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must be a self-starter with excellent multi-tasking, communication and project management skills.
• Minimal travel required.
Security Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Any formal job offer will be contingent upon the incumbents’ receipt of an Interim Clearance and successful adjudication of the security clearance process.
