Job Summary: Perform highly technical and engineering functions to provide Certification & Accreditation (C&A ) and testing (security, functional, and performance) support for Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) and Cross Domain Enterprise Service (CDES) during the entire lifecycle. Operate and maintain a highly sophisticated Cross Domain Solution (CDS) test bed using virtual machine technologies. Develop security test plans, test scenarios, and test data. Conduct of ST&E, CT&E, IV&V, OT&E, vulnerability, and performance testing. Assess and analyze test results. Prepare and deliver data for monthly status reports (MSR) and plan of action and milestones (POA&Ms). Provide technical expertise at technical interchange meetings (TIMs), in progress reviews (IPRs), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), and Critical Design Reviews (CDRs).
Security Clearance: Secret Security clearance is mandatory, Top Secret may be required.
Citizenship: Must be a citizen of the United States at the time of hire.
Travel: Required inside/outside the continental United States.
Experience/Certifications/Education:
• Required: Five years experience and proficient in CDS technologies. Must have worked on a test team and performed tasks and activities in the security, functional, and performance testing disciplines.
• Must have a strong working knowledge of: DIACAP DoD 8510.1M and DoD 8500.2, Information Assurance Implementation, Defense Integrated Infrastructure (DII) Standard Technical Guides (STGs); DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS)/Gold Disks; National Security Agency (NSA) Risk Decision Authority Criteria (RDAC); and Director Central Intelligence Directive 6/3 guidance.
• Experience with the following applications is highly desirable: Joint CERT Database (JCD), Joint Threat Intelligence Database (JTID), Department of Defense (DoD) Computer Emergency Response Team (CIRT) Incident Database (DCID).
• Knowledge of the Defense Systems Information Systems Agency (DISA), preferably in the Program Executive Office – Mission Assurance and Network Operations (PEO-MA).
• Must possess effective verbal/written communication skills and deliver customer-satisfaction.
• Required: Must possess valid Department of Defense Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program certification in the Information Assurance Technical (IAT) category, Level II at the time of hire. IAT Level II certification achieved within 90 days of hire will be considered. DISA’s Level 2 System Administrator Certification is highly desired.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or four years of technical experience may be substituted for education requirements.
