Duties: |
| - Responsible for installation, adjustments, maintenance, analysis, troubleshooting and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, and electrical systems, with responsibility for maintaining the productivity level and quality performance of the equipment.
- Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance on all plant machinery and equipment.
- Perform daily pre-production or post-production inspection, set-up, and routine preventative machine maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment during production day in response to production line issues or, if necessary, after production day is complete.
- Work on projects relating to manufacturing equipment design.
- Complete maintenance checklist for all machinery.
- Other duties may be assigned. |
Qualifications: |
| - High School diploma or equivalent.
- Vo-tech or trade school training in skilled trades.
- 2-4 years experience with plumbing, metal fabrication, electrical wiring, welding, and machine parts fabrication in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong abilities in detecting defects in equipment and making proper repairs, interpreting and working from sketches, diagrams and prints, and in the care and use of tools and equipment used in trades involved.
- Ability to work effectively as a part of a team.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
