Description: | Provides network solutions for all data center systems, including hardware, software, tools, and facilities. Specific responsibilities include: - Develops or modifies operating procedures and manuals to solve complex network problems considering network circuits, hardware and protocols, processing platforms hardware and software, and facility systems and cabling
- Provides analysis and support to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded network performance
- Supports integration and test network activities as hardware or applications are migrated from the development environment to the operational environment
- Ensures feedback on network test results, problem resolution, and customer satisfaction
Required Skills/Abilities - Experience in managing, operating, and maintaining Cisco network and/or VoIP systems
- Experience troubleshooting network problems when considering network circuits, hardware and protocols, processing platforms hardware and software, and facility systems and cabling
- Experience managing, testing, operating, and maintaining data center systems
- Experience operating a NOC facility
- Comprehensive knowledge of LANs and WANs
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
Education/Experience A minimum of five (5) years of experience; bachelor's degree in related field preferred. |
