Penn-Mar Organization, Inc. is a growing, non-profit agency whose mission is to provide support services in our communities, which promote value, independence and self-determination, to families and individuals with disabilities or human service needs. The Van Driver ensures Day Program and Supported Employment Employees are transported to and from programs in a safe manner. This position is considered a "floater" position, and the successful candidate must be able to do a morning and afternoon run. The morning run is typically from 5am-8am, and the afternoon run is typically from 2pm-5pm. Minimum Qualifications for the Van Driver position include: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience. Valid Driver's License with 2 years of driving experience and less than 3 accidents or moving violations in the last 3 years. Must pass basic Math and Reading Comprehension Exercise. Able to lift 50 lbs. Successful completion of physical, drug screen, Mantoux test for Tuberculosis. Must pass background and reference checks. |
